Timeline of Events

1971

Brooks College is founded in Long Beach, CA. There is also a location opened in Sunnyvale, CA

2007

In June 2007, Career Education Corporation announced that it would close both campuses of Brooks College.

2005

Brooks College is subject to an investigation by CBS’s 60 Minutes about for-profit schools. The outcome is unfavourable.

2008

The Sunnyvale campus closed in June 2008, while the Long Beach campus closed December 2008.
